Rollin' along through life

I know we have been MIA for a while but we're back.

We (myself and the boys) fly to Edmonton for the last two weeks of January to celebrate my brother's birthday and of course to visit family and friends.

We spent week one with Grandma and Grandpa, we:
- had visit from Caufu who met Torr for the first time
- went to the Telus World of Science for a morning which was awesome
- played in the snow for a good 5 minutes before Liam realized you had to keep your mitts on to stay warm
- numerous friends dropped in to say hello
- went swimming with Melanie and her son Nate and her mom Nancy

Torr meeting Caufu for the first time!

Library time put on by Auntie Chloe!

Week Two was spent with Kung Kung and Pau Pau we:
- had an open house where I got a chance to see a bunch of my friends
- spent tons of time playing inside since some days hit minus 40 with wind chill
- had lots of visits from Caufu which was great!

The Fam - unflattering pic of Liam but he was refusing to sit for the photo

After we arrived home it was back to the swing of things only to leave again on the Friday to go to Vancouver Island. For those that didn't know we will be moving to Courtenay (Between Nanaimo and Campbell River) at the end of May as Matt begins locuming in June. Don't worry there is an airport near by that Westjet flies to. Hint hint

We spent our Saturday looking at 10 houses in a little over 4 hours...Torr was a dream he just slept and enjoyed going from house to house. Liam stayed with our friend, Sian, in Campbell River and had a blast. Thanks again Sian and Derek for putting up with us for two days!

Brotherly bath time!

En route home we stopped to see our friends, Ryan, Karen and Sam, in Nanaimo and then Cam, Carmen and Andy in Vancouver for dinner.

Typical Sunday dinner with Cam, Carmen and Andy

Busy weekend but well worth the trip. We'll update you on our house situation as soon as we know. :)

Love,

Monique, Matt, Liam and Torr
